To participate in the Emerging Marketing Talent Contest, aspiring marketing professionals must meet the following criteria:
1.Experience: Participants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the marketing industry.
2.Passion for Marketing: We welcome individuals who are passionate about marketing, whether they specialize in digital strategy, paid media, market research, or analytics.
3.Open to Learning: The contest aims to simulate real-world challenges, so participants should be open to learning and adapting their skills.
4.Equipment: Participants must have access to their own computers/laptops and stable internet.
5.South African Residents: The contest is only open to residents of South Africa.

When completing the application form, applicants will need to upload an updated CV, portfolio of work and write a short motivation letter.
Contest Period: The contest will run from 28 June to 07 July 2024

The Emerging Marketing Talent Contest aims to bridge the gap between talented marketing professionals and industry employers. The contest takes place in the form of a remote work simulation, with the goal to spotlight up and coming marketing professionals by providing a platform for talented digital marketers to showcase their skills to top employers, get recognition and grow their networks, while empowering talent to thrive in a competitive and evolving marketing landscape. The contest which will be held from 28 June to 07 July 2024, is an online platform designed to assess your technical skills, competency, and ability to deliver a Credipple customer experience in hybrid and remote work environments. It aims to showcase your skills, creativity, and readiness for real-world marketing challenges.
Marketing professionals with a minimum of 2 years of marketing industry experience or a minimum of 2 years in a marketing role, residing in South Africa, who are passionate about marketing, whether they specialize in digital strategy, paid media, market research, or analytics. Participants must also have access to a computer/laptop and stable internet.
Registration opens on 7 June 2024. Interested professionals need to submit an updated CV, a portfolio of work, and a short motivation letter via our website.
Industry experts on our jury panel will evaluate your submissions based on the specified criteria. You will receive detailed feedback to help you understand your strengths and areas for improvement.
After the contest, top-performing participants will be recognized with prizes and coaching sessions. Profiles of participants will be shared with potential employers, potentially leading to job offers.

Tasks will cover a range of marketing disciplines, including digital strategy, paid media, market research, analytics, and reporting. These tasks will mimic real-world scenarios to test your practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Unless specified in the task instructions, all tasks are to be completed individually to accurately assess your skills and competencies.

No, certificates will not be issued for participation in the contest, however, participants may use their submissions from the contest to develop case studies for their portfolio or resume, which may only be used for the purposes of showcasing prospective employers their capabilities. All IP provided by the client for participants to use as part of the contest remains the property of the client.
Yes, the simulation is designed to accommodate professionals who are currently employed. However, you should ensure that you have enough time to complete the tasks and meet deadlines.
Yes, there may be a cap on the number of participants to ensure quality and manageability of the simulation. Early registration is recommended.
All submissions are securely handled through our online platform. Only authorized jury members and support staff will have access to your work, and confidentiality agreements are in place to protect your information.
Any disputes or grievances should be reported to the contest support team. We have a structured process to handle such issues fairly and promptly.
Yes you can withdraw from the contest by sending an email to community@credipple.com informing our contest support team members that you wish to withdraw your participation in the contest.
